RAISING HEALTHY PIGS

Pigs require a number of essential nutrients to meet their needs for maintenance, growth, reproduction, lactation and other functions. Swine require six general classes of nutrients: water, carbohydrates, fats, protein (amino acids), minerals, and vitamins. A good rule of thumb is to feed pigs roughly 7 pounds of feed for every 30 pounds of body weight. 

Step 1: Milk Replacer is a substitute for milk that supports the growth and development of piglets.

Step 2: Transition To Feed the best age to wean piglets depends on the breed of pig, it can be anywhere from 4-8 weeks of age.

Multi-Species Feed is formulated to meet the nutritional requirement for mixed livestock on the farm.

  • 12% Multi-Species for the needs of mature horses, cattle, goats, and sheep. Great value for animal owners seeking an economically priced feed. Versatile feed with multi-species formulation. Formulated with 12% protein, 2.5% fat and 18% fiber. Balanced mineral and vitamin formulation. Complements quality forage intake. Guaranteed vitamin D level for skeletal support. This feed is designed as a supplement to pasture and hay, not as a replacement. Provide fresh clean water and species-specific mineral supplementation as needed. Salt should be available free choice. This product contains NO added copper.
  • 14% Multi-Species is a textured feed for the needs of mature horses, cattle, goats, and sheep. Highly palatable with multi-species formulation it provides a quality source of added fiber to their diet. Formulated with 14% protein, 2.5% fat and 20% fiber, elevated vitamin E level for antioxidant protection, and guaranteed vitamin D level for skeletal support. Complements quality forage intake. This feed is designed as a supplement to pasture and hay, not as a replacement. Always provide plenty of fresh clean water and species-specific mineral supplementation as needed. Grain is the seed harvested from crops eaten by livestock as a food source.

The corn is cracked and processed for improved digestibility and makes a great supplemental feed for livestock. It is also an affordable way to supplement the animals on your farm. This is not a complete feed and must be fed in conjunction with forage and other sources of fiber and nutrition. 
  • Whole Corn provides a great supplemental source of energy to many species of livestock, such as cattle, goats, and sheep. This Whole Corn contains 7% protein, 2% fat and 3.5% fiber. Corn makes a great supplemental feed for livestock and is an affordable way to supplement the animals on your farm. This is not a complete feed and must be fed in conjunction with forage and other sources of fiber and nutrition.
