Iron tree treats are formulated to alleviate yellowing (iron chlorosis) and other micronutrient deficiencies in trees. When tree treats are applied the tree has the nutrition to help promote green leaves, recover from insect damage and weather related problems such as drought and freezing.The capsules are readily soluble in water (sap) and the nutrients are translocated in the tree to the leaves and new growth where iron chlorosis is most prevalent. The capsules are especially useful where iron deficiencies are difficult to correct by conventional fertilization methods of soil administration or foliar feeding, (soils that are high in pH or other conditions that compete with or immobilize the iron).
